DulciMR – Mixed Reality Hammered Dulcimer Simulator for Meta Quest 3

Currently supports hand controls and controllers both for free play AND guided song learning! Hopeful to release this soon.

Mixed Reality Nutrition App – Meta Quest 3

Developed in Unity for the GVSU Simulation Center. Students sort random foods into plates representing different diets (like “Low Sodium” or “Mechanical Soft”) and receive detailed feedback to guide decision making from both a cute digital agent (the “ChefShroom”), a speech bubble pop up, and a paper above the plate which shows common nutritional info like carbs, fat, etc.

Sterile Field Visualizer – HoloLens 2 App

Developed in Unity for the GVSU Simulation Center. Set modeled in Blender. Allows students to view a life-sized operating room with the sterile field highlighted in green for clarity. Addresses a critical need, as only one Grand Rapids student per day is able to shadow in the Corewell OR.

Porco Rosso – Unity game

Lovingly developed in tribute to the classic film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. All models were created in Blender but textured, animated, and stylized programmatically within Unity.

9DOF Louie the Laker Touchdown Game

Expanding on Adafruit’s code sample for using the 9DOF sensor as a controller within Unity, I designed an algorithm for converting serial port values into game movement and created this football game. Louie the Laker modeled in Blender.
